2015 BMW X6 F16 - Drivetrain malfunction warning

Hello guys,

2015 BMW X6 F16 xDrive3.5i

Recently the car is showing this warning, the warning is not happening all the time, only when I turn on the ignition (without turning on the engine)

Warning: Drivetrain malfunction

I purchased a Foxwell Diagnostic & Scanner for BMW and when the issue appeared I ran the scanner and it showed:

Power Control Unit PCU - Fault1
Error Code: D49405
Description: No message (crash control, 105.0.1), receiver PCU, transmitter ACSM

I was searching online about this error code D49405 and I found:

Fault Code Conditions:
General Conditions Supply voltage between 9 and 16 volts.
Terminal Condition Terminal 15 On
Terminal Condition PWF status: Driving
Terminal Condition PWF status: Residing
Driving Conditions Notice: The designations of terminal status or PWF status apply according to the vehicle electrical system.

At this point, I ran out of ideas how to pinpoint the module/part causing the issue.

This car has 2 batteries, the main one was replaced 3 years ago, the small one will have 10 years soon (I thought it could be related)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Viktor
