mb was the first to offer an "amg appearence package" changing from sport then i believe audi followed suit with s-line changing from "ultrasport" (USP) and then bmw changed from sport to M-Sport and M-Performance.

With the release of the upcoming M550i then we can expect it to happen to the other future models. The M badge increases sales I'm guessing.
