It's a commercial.. there are tons of inaccuracies clearly. OP used the term daydreaming which seems to be accurate. The child is dreaming about driving a car.
in the video the father did use the words " wake her up"... but I wouldn't consider the child to be
asleep or
sleepwalking.
In my mind the story ends/continues with the little girl running out to hop into her properly mounted car seat in the rear and playing along at driving as mom goes off to drive wherever.
