I used the oem bolts direct on the spacer to squeeze it closer and still a paper thin space...
I figured if I torqued it with the wheel to 102 that it would close the gap. Seems to have worked but I will inspect further tonight.
But there seems to be no way to remove the spacer now without a hammer and chisel.
In this case I'll be fine lathering the front hubs with anti seize just to play it safe
