A buddy of mine that works for BMWHQ confirm all this is true. F15 EOP is 7/2018 and all new X5 SOP 8/2018. There will not be a LCI for the F15. This is good for people that only plan to keep the F15 for 3-5 years because it will still be the current model (no LCI to semi out date it) but bad for those that planned to keep it longer because now it will be the old model sooner.

Going by this schedule mid 2019 would be a good time to jump over to the new model giving it 1 year to iron out the bugs. The F15 was a nightmare the first few months with people posting about issues the instant they drove the car off the dealers lot.

So, End of production for F15 is 07/18. That makes it a Little less than 5 years in production. Its replacement should start production in August 2018

F15 will get an update but not an LCI. The update will mainly be a new I-drive and other Technologies.

I don't Think F15 will get the all new Qaud turbo M50D engine
