I also prefer Pirelli P Zero tires over Dunlop tires the vehicle came with. Dunlop tires began to produce drone-like sounds at 21K miles. No unusual for RFT tires to become noisier as the tread wear increases.

Since my wife drives 2015 X5 in the family, RFT tires make more sense.
