I think it's helpful for parallel parking on the street to see where your car is in relation to the curb and front and rear parked cars. To me personally, I can do it all without cameras, but it just speeds things up when parking when you have more EYES
. No, the the standard rear view does not have top view, which is referred to as surround view - my whole purpose for creating this thread is because I want that top view feature since it did not come factory installed on my car.
