Exactly. You said it in fewer words than I did. I just don't understand why someone would pay twice the price for a car than they really need to, then try to save a buck, maybe a buck and a half on a fill up. It won't hurt anything if you have to use lower octane, or accidently use it, but I just don't understand why someone would do it willingly. All that money spent for a high performance vehicle, then dial it back and get less performance and less gas mileage...
