The reason I ask is I know from experience that Infiniti was replacing the stock batteries that were in G37's with batteries used in the M37/56 cars because they were under sized.

right, so the only way to know is to read the past servicing sheets. As a CPO car, all records would be maintained at the dealership that serviced the car.
