BMW dealer thinks different situation for X5 but since both F15/F16 is so new they aren't sure!?! Milling the wheel larger is one option or 15mm spacer with 42mm bolts... Just looking for verification from blog members... Dealers recommendation... . If these aren't good solutions then need to verify it would fit 2015 X5 F15 which I can put on instead of my X6 F16.
I would return them and get the right wheels. I think the 15mm spacer is going to push the wheel out past the fender flare. You are going to have the same problem in the X5 where both front and rear hubs are 74.0mm. I suspect the F16 has both hubs at 74.0 and that is why you are having this problem and that the wheels you bought were setup for E71 X6 or E70 X5M.
