Dynojets read very high in general. Get the car on a Mustang or MaHa dyno and you will see considerably lower numbers.
That being said, some of these engines have been known to produce far more hp than indicated by BMW. Strangely, it were in particular the press cars that produced up to almost 650hp at the crank. Honi soit qui mal y pense...
