BMW X5 and X6 Forum (F15/F16) - View Single Post - Whirring sound

It seems that's a normal sound. My 2009 X5 had it and now my '15 X6 has the same. It's not a mechanical sound like a bearing but more of a simple harmless (I hope) rubbing sound.
