I'm strictly basing it on stock when you buy them brand new without mods
. They are underpowered in this scenario while comparable BMWs are not. For the money, you get better performance from a stock bmw than a stock audi unless it's an S/RS model. In that price range, what makes more sense to you? I love Audis, but I'm just explaining that the manufacturer has always underpowered their stock vehicles. Just take a look at their SUV line. It's pathetic. If you remember back in the day, the first R8 was a joke until they bought a gallardo engine and put it into the V10 version.
