I have the same exact issue at the very beginning, way before I used RainX as my washer fluid.
It has somehow gone away this winter but last winter I kept receiving the Low Warning even when my reservoir is full.
I suspect the OEM fluid may have been freezing or causing issues internally. Been using Rain X for over a year now without any issues.
