Yeah, VO Coding is rarely done unless you're adding or removing anything from your FA.
add 6NS = VO Code HU_NBT
add 6WB = VO Code Dkombi and HU_NBT (this is for navigation to work correctly in the instrument cluster if Dkombi doesn't do it alone)
remove 8S4 = VO Code BDC_Body
All are independent of each other. So, if you VO Code one ECU folder, it has no effect on the other ECU folders so their fdl coding remains in tact.
