The N63 from the F10 550i and others begat the S63 in the E70 X5M and E71 X6M.
The S63 begat the S63tu in the F10M and F06/12/13M.
The S63tu will beget an improved version of that engine in the F85 and F86 seen in this video.
That said, Scott has mentioned that the Gxx M5 and M6 cars will be based on a different family of engines, including the possibility of a V10, presumably derived from the N74 V12 engine. I take that statement with a grain of salt, but we'll know more in the next 12-24 months.
