I figured as much. I was just playing along.

In all seriousness though, I work at a VW store in an affluent area of the city, and we do mostly high line cars- AMG, BMW's, Porsches, Bentleys, Jags, Astons, etc, etc.

What I'm getting at is I get a chance to drive a lot of them- in the last week alone I've driven a 2017 Targa C4S, 2009 Bentley Conti GT, 2010 Audi S5, and my daily is a new GTI. It's amazing how many similarities there are between them all. From things like the switch gear and electronic screens to things like the weight and feel of certain controls, it's easy to decipher the connection among them. You can take from that what you will.

I personally love how Porsches (911's in particular) drive, so I feel it's a good thing.

Oh, and I pronounce it the right way- with 2 syllables.
