When using Auto H in say stop & go traffic, when the Auto H is holding your position, but you are of course not putting your foot on the brake (since you are using Auto H  , are the brake lights on to let drivers behind us know, that we are stopped?

Yes, the brake lights are illuminated when stopped using the Auto Hold.
