I have been having a similar problem. I could hear something rattling/loose coming from the back side of my F85. I tried to eliminate all possibilities such as Spare tire, First aid kit located in the compartment behind the rear lights, the rails in the trunk (I made sure they are stable, I removed the safety/grocery net that connects to the movable loops in the trunk rail, i folded the rear seats... etc
I went to BMW for my driver side mirror camera issue and i talked to their body-shop expert and he mentioned that they might have to adjust the parts i will be including as a photo. As you can already see that the original adjustment shows one side is wider than the other.. I guess with temperature differences from day and nigh and being in the garage and out... it needs to be readjusted. I will yet have to test drive it and see if this solved the issue. |
