I read several guides and tried every trick & procedure I found on the forums. What worked in the end was using a different opener. I have four openers that all look identical. The first one I tried wouldn't work on my X5M or M6GC. I tried using a second remote and it worked on the first try with only one press in the learning step. Hope this helps someone. Good luck!
