Purchased a used '14 X5 M-Sport which has a pre-installed hitch (looks like it's Curt). I'm in the process of sourcing a harness, and I already have the BMW OEM Brake Light Module.

'm wondering if anyone has the coded the the OEM module to work correctly once a trailer is hooked up?

In addition, I found the OEM harness for trailer hookup for $475 on Fleabay. Looks like all other places are selling it for mid $500's.

Any input or feedback is greatly appreciated.
