Hi guys. Resurrecting this old thread. I recently bought a CPO 2017 X5 35i and just noticed this same ticking/clicking noise from the engine bay.
Does anyone know if BMW ever release a SIB for the issue given its probably happened to multiple cars now and is hardly a isolated issue.
I see someone posted the parts that were replaced ... is that the definitive fix then?
