My brief search and your research and conclusion are on the same page. But now that you have a Euro part nbr plus if you look again at the part database site (when you click on the part nbr)...you also get a list of other part nbrs that are retroactively exchangeable. You can type or paste any of those numbers into a google/internet search box (ie "
BMW xx xx x xxx xxx"...where x = the actual BMW part nbrs) and search for used or new ones that will work for your application.
