Looking to build and buy my x5. Probably it will be x35d.
Currently I drive 2008 M3 (E92) so you know my taste!

Here is my couple questions: 1. If I go with M-package do I need DHP too or they overlap each other?

2. Is Active Steering ...useless?

3. To have firmer steering what option I should choose? I drove 35d and 50i and steering is too light to my taste.

4. Thanks a lot!

1. Msport Line does not automatically give you the upgraded suspension ( in USA market). You have the option to choose either Adaptive M suspension ( $900 ) or DHP ($4,500 ). The Adaptive M suspension is a NO BRAINER.. but get the DHP if you can sink more $$ into it.

2. Active Steering isn't useless but IMO it is not needed, especially in the F15 X5 since the steering is already very light and "Easy" to turn. This option would be on the bottom of the list of features that are important to me.

3. Adaptive M suspension will change your steering feel along with the suspension/chassis. My steering is very firm, precise, and feels nothing like the F15 without this option. I am not certain about the DHP but if I had to guess it would be similar.

Hope this helps.
