H&R VTF on F86 X6M

Hi Everyone -

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience or opinions on H&R VTF adjustable springs on an F86 or F85:

Thanks in advance!

Very interested in hearing more. These are new so we are not likely to have many people respond. Is this the first height adjustable spring solution in the market?

To date, I’ve been only considering the ACS spring as I constantly read that the H&R spring is too firm (but provides the best drop).

This VTS solution might allow for a slightly less aggressive drop, though I wonder how it might affect the ride compared with the Sport Springs. Could it be less pronounced?

Seems like they are trying to compete with KW HAS kit.
I would say it won't be as good as complete coilover, but it should be better than spring.

I remember some coil over sleeves that when you were lowered and put the car on the lift, the spring would lose tension and there were loose on the strut. Meaning that if you were going to lower the lift, you had to hold the spring on the purge and make sure the spring would align, before you lower the lift completely. I know that the HAS from KW has that helper spring, the small spring, that will prevent that by keeping pressure on the upper spring. Since the H&R doesn't seem to have a helper spring, I wonder how they compensate for not having one?
