Costs and availability of parts to downgrade wheels
I currently have 451 20" rims with about 1000 miles on them and I don't like the ride. I would definitely prefer a slightly softer ride at the expense of less performance-oriented tires.
If I end up swapping to 449 19" rims, I want to know what other costs in addition to the costs of the tires themselves I would be incurring. In other words, will I need to buy valve stems and tpms monitors? How much? Also, I may or may not want to swap the flared fenders for narrower ones if the 19s look weird. Is this a do-it-yourself job? Anyone know how much and where I could buy replacement fenders and fasteners? Thanks for your help. |

I have mint condition 19" orbit gray wheels with Goodyear LS2 tires (factory from BMW) with only 30 miles on them sitting in my garage wrapped up. I can't swap but I can sell it to you for $2500 - OEM cost of this is around $3242.36. I'm also pretty sure you can sell yours back to the dealer for a decent price. For the best deal on sensors, contact member r33. Here's a thread about TPMS: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=976387
