2015 X5D EGR and Manifold Repair
Just received second recall stating repair parts available for EGR repair recall. Brought to dealer and both EGR and Manifold need to be replaced. Informed that it will be end of December 2019 for parts to be available. How can this happen and what if anything can be done to expedite parts. Does Germany really not care about this?

2015 X5 currently at dealership. Replacement parts, according to dealership, arrived yesterday for the recall on EGR/Man. Hopefully I will have it back by the end of the week.

During my last visit I was told that they can check it but if my car needs new parts it can take up to 6 weeks and I will have to drive a loaner. So I decided to wait, I am not loosing any coolant and don't think I'm affected. |

Took mine in a month ago. My 35d wasn't impacted.

Nothing wrong, but don't want to drive X3 for at least a month. Had some friends in town so decided to postpone. Will probably do it in December, going to Europe for 3 weeks so won't bother me.

Usually they are low spec. At least in Canada.

After initially being told I would receive a loaner for 2-3 months--that was rescinded by the dealer or BMW NA and the parts were put back in defective and car given back to me. After numerous phone calls to BMW and the dealer--no resolution other than I am driving with a defective EGR and Manifold. What are my options? Anyone else having this issue? Anyone get Manifold parts recently repaired--

Had this recall done back in August took them a week to replace everything, intake mainfold egr cooler ect, $2500 worth of parts all together, gave me X3m40I for loaner which wasn't to bad, still prefer my x5 diesel over any other suv at this point on the market, such a shame they don't offer in US any more.
