Aftermarket Battery advice
After only putting about 500 miles on the car in the last year or so it looks like I need a new battery, will this do?
https://www.autozone.com/batteries-s...19459_322864_0 They don't list the amps, I'm not in the mood to drive out to BMW. I'm looking for a straight swap, only registration no coding. Any info is appreciated. Thanks |

The Autozone website says it is applicable & the recommendation are good from German car owners. Biggest issue will be L x W xH and post positions.

I think u want the h9 battery which I believe is slightly longer than the h8. I remember going through this with the cayenne. Most sites recommended the H8 size battery but oem was an h9/95R. The specs lead me to believe the h9 is the proper replacement too, as the Amp hours and cca seem to match the SIB out there about the various battery replacements. Just make sure it’s an AGM. Either way I’m sure you will be fine. The good thing bout the bmw is that it’s easier to get to the battery. In the cayenne it was under the drivers seat!!!
