Good to hear! Is your wireless/fullscreen? Honestly may have been a dealbreaker for me if it didn't have those features. Seems that Bimmertech has great service too if anything goes awry so I'm excited to get it installed and up and running.

It's wireless, but it can do wired as well. I previously had the CarPlay box from Unique Auto Designs, and it worked fine, but physically broke when I plugged in a USB cable to update it.

The bimmertech is so much better... faster cleaner interface, easier to setup, supports CANBUS, so it knows when the headlights are on and changes the view from light to dark. It also displays the front PDC sensor guides on the screen when the front camera I installed is on.

Trust me, you'll enjoy it.

Shame you got the version with split screen Apple CarPlay vice full screen. Other than that there are several DIY on here. Install is super easy and takes maybe 45 min for a noob. Every unit also installs the same unless you go android unit like I did to add a 1080p screen. Only thing I regret is not having wireless CarPlay.

I believe this is the full screen CarPlay, I just have it on split display (map and media).

This is also wireless.
