Yes, it is unconscionable that they would gladly take your thousands of dollars to replace the TC instead of at least suggesting this simple procedure that practically anyone can do. Shameful. Glad it worked for you!

Has anyone used a snap on computer to do the both calibration? Just changed my fluid but cannot find the calibration in this scan tool. It's the snap on verdict d7.

Front Diff: 1L. BMW G2 (75W-85) or Redline p/n 50104 (75W-85) - 60Nm / 44ft.Lb drain/fill plugs
Rear Diff: 1L. BMW G3 (70W-80) or Redline p/n 57904 (75W-90) - 60Nm / 44ft.Lb drain/fill plugs
Regarding the front diff. oil, the lighter (lower viscosity) 75W/85 has been spec’d for recent model years for CAFE fuel economy reasons. Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards. Previous to that 75W-90 was indicated.
Prior, and for better protection, front and rear diff use the same oil; GL5 75W-90, # 57904 in Redline.
The TC oil in Redline is MT-LV 70W/75W GL4, # 50604.
