Apologies if I appeared defensive - I like nice pics and don't feel I have them yet The carbon black takes some getting used to. I love a black car so when I first picked up it didn't feel 'black enough' to me. Having seen it in the sun a couple of times it is stunning - even one of my neighbours came by to ask what the colour is...

Admiring our cousin parked next to me, I noticed a nail in my tire. I hauled over to the tire shop to get it fixed (didn't want to get stuck with a flat). Too close to the sidewall for a patch so I got it plugged. Hopefully it stays.
Although I can't complain considering what Alan went through. |

Been a while since I posted a picture of my X5... still have a couple of things that needs to be installed. X5m trim pieces, blendmount, etc.. oh and I need new tires for the front. They're bald on the edges hence the white lines on the edges. They're not the cords so that's okay, right?

it's exactly the point of this vehicle... i wouldn't purchase an suv to be a garage queen. it's like buying a hammer and never using it because you don't want to scratch it.

I was referring to the flowers, plants, etc.. I have done the same with paver stones when I built my firepit. Hell when I put my wheels on I had 4 21" Velos wheels and 4 giant Michelin tires all unmounted jammed in there with lots of towels. |

There was that one time when we decided to make an impromptu stop at Ikea on our way home from a trip just to look because my X5 was already REALLY full....well, we ended up buying stuff but the challenge was figuring out how to stuff them all in the back. And this was the result. It was so full all the way to the front..I had to put stuff on top of the dashboard and on both mine and my wife's laps too. LOL!

the plants and shrubs were less messy than the stones. the stones had sand and debris from the casting process all over them. much more difficult to clean up than mums and japanese boxwood remnants. in any event, a little vacuuming and detail session and it's like nothing happened. wife goes on.

As long as you have a durable cargo mat, it shouldn't really matter what you are hauling as long it isn't some messy liquid.. right?
