Thanks SaNGRia - I missed your post - very helpful.

I’ve now lived with the system for a few months. Everything remains working correctly and it has been triggered a couple times (I don’t actually drive at night that much these days). The spotlights did a decent job of illumination a couple pedestrians who were in unsusal locations (one was on an off-ramp from a highway). They were illuminated (lower half +/- of their bodies) and I got the HUD warning and NV warning in the cluster. No one gave me the finger so they must be aimed well vertically.

I will be recreating the wiring harness to accommodate the proper Spotlight plugs that I found after I got the initial set up completed (including cutting open the lights to wire directly ). It’ll be water-tight and have fewer intermediate connections stemming from my initial attempt. I bought another cheap new set of spotlights from a euro eBay seller so I’ll have properly sealed units as well.

Now to figure out the coding required for HUD turn-signals with our 6WB clusters…it’s gotta be possible somehow!!

Wow.. that's really cool retrofit

Unfortunately it is too expensive for me to source all parts. Especially I don't have nighy vision option
