Did anyone ever figure this out? I'm sure there's a way to do it in Bimmercode Expert Mode. It's a matter of finding which value in the ICM menu to change, the ICM Module/ 3000 Daten/ IcmKod_B_Sportlenkung/ verbaut value they change on f30s doesn't exist on our ICM module.

If it's something you desire and you have the BimmerCode app...isn't it listed as an option in the long list of Welcome Light coding?

EDIT: for my application, welcome lights is controlled by the FEM (perhaps its different if your BMW uses a different module)...but coding welcome light to illuminate during daylight is the 4th selection down from the top. If you wan't welcome lights in darkness only...then select ACTIVE...if you want welcome lights during daytime, too...then select NOT ACTIVE:

Okay, if you don't have the FEM...did you check the BDC module to see what was the coding options for the F15?

If you have the app and the adapter...just hook it up and check what is available under welcome lights for your model and module.

EDIT: just out of curiosity...I went to the BimmerCode website and looked under SUPPORTED cars (selected the f15 X5)...and went to the WELCOME LIGHT section...and this is what's listed (see below). Have you checked for this option after opening the app? It appears to be the same easy code as for the BMWs with the FEM...except its the 2nd one down from the top...and selecting NOT ACTIVE will allow the welcome lights to illuminate during daylight.

Glad you found it. I wonder why the Bimmercode website inaccurately shows it being available for the f15 on the regular side of coding (like pictured in my reply above).

BimmerCode not connecting

Any suggestions?
My BimmerCode app is not connecting to the phone Bluetooth. I recently installed Wireless Carplay unit behind the HU. Is that the reason and how do I go about it ?

If you have the hardwire cables (eth to obd, then eth to lightning) I'd try that. That being said I always use hardwire and sometimes it can be finicky to connect. I have to restart my phone often.
