Anyone know how to program/update esys/ISTA for 50i brakes? I'm upgrading from the 35i brakes and am trying to figure out the code. I know for the MPBK it is SBRE, but having trouble tracking down how to code in the 50i kit.

Hi,
I have recently purchased a Japanese import 2015 x5 F15 35d and love it. One annoying thing I cannot seem to deactivate using bimmercode is the annoying gong that starts when you select reverse gear. Obviously not the PDC.
Any help appreciated.

You should just use my Launcher Cheat Codes to correctly apply FDL changes.

Do you have access to KOMBI in Bimmercode?

• Function should be something like R_GANG_AKUSTIK_ENABLE; set to nicht_aktiv.

I am having trouble even connecting with bimmercode now. I have a vLinker BM+ but will not connect properly.
I did have a NZ map conversion done by the dealer I bought it from so thinking maybe this is the problem? I have asked for clarification as to what update they actually gave to the maps but have not got a reply.
If anyone has any other ideas would be appreciated.

Edit: just found out the dealer fitted an aftermarket car play (which works well) but that must be why bimmercode not connecting. Does anyone know if esys would work even with this headunit mod?

E-sys should work. And, coding with E-sys can sometimes fix car files to allow Bimmercode to read again.

Some SALAPA are implied and will not be present. You can look at ordering guides for what is standard.

Got esys going and having fun with it so far.

Question, my car doesn't have the checkbox to enable daylight running lights in idrive, and I can't seem to find which option in esys to enable this checkbox.
I have the cheat sheet which talks about rear daytime running nights, but not front, and nothing about the checkbox.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry if I resume this discussion, after a mistake coding of all the car ECUs on my f20, the rear windows do not work automatically when closing neither with the button nor with the remote control, only the forward ones work automatically, there is some code from activate? I use esys as an encoding.

What speed do I need to go for it to activate?
Do I need to do anything special for it to activate? i.e. press HBA on the end of the stalk or does it work when I just have normal high beams activated by pushing the stalk forward?

Hey is it possible to have the door handle lights turn on when unlocking/opening the car whilst having the interior main/cabin lights off. I'm not talking about the colour RGB lights, just the main lights in the roof and side rear pillars.

I turned my main cabin lights off permanently by holding the light button for 3ish seconds, but noticed that this turned off the comfort/access lights in the door handles.

To activate the anti-dazzle you simply press the lower left stalk button and you'll see the Auto High Beam indicator light up on the dash…then sit back and enjoy the show . Make sure the headlight switch is in the Auto position and your fog lights off.

Unless you coded to also work in manual position 1, you should have switch in Automatic position and press HBA button on stalk.

• Below 41 mph: 2-stage on/off
• Above 41 mph: Tunneling (as conditions permit)
