Ok, what am I missing?
-xdrive 35i -jet black -premium package with black Dakota -DHP -cold weather package -luxury seating package -rear view camera -surround view camera -rear manual window shades MSRP is 67,500. Truecar invoice, including destination fee is $63,180. Truecar estimate is actually $62,748, which is below invoice. Dealer has offered $63,015, which includes MACO. 36k lease comes out to $802 a month with base MF plus MSDs at .00081. What am I missing? Is this a good deal? Just re-ran truecar on the USAA website and now it's giving a truecar price of $62,405. Even factoring in MACO, it would seem I can do a bit better, maybe as much as $500 better. Any offer on the X5 around or below invoice is a pretty good deal. You already got the base MF with MSDs so just try to get the lowest price you can, keep fees like doc and acquisition in check, and you're good to go!

Today I bought my X5. It is a pretty loaded 35i with MSRP of $72,525. The deal involves a trade in, so it is difficult to say what I actually paid for the x5 alone, but I'd say maybe I paid 3% off MSRP for a vehicle put on order. Please note that I live in Alaska and the nearest alternate dealer is some 2,000+ miles away in Bellingham, WA - I can't compete dealers like you people can in the lower 48.

That seems like a heck of a deal. Getting $500 over or at invoice is really good for an X5. So anything below is great. There must be some dealer incentives or that car may have been on his lot a little longer than others. I would agree that you are not going to get much better than this. I went to a xdrive 35i recently and traded in the X5diesel. Gas is easier to find but I do miss the diesel. Good luck |
