Demand is about to go way up and, while counterintuitive, I think this will bring prices down to a reasonable level.

Increase competition, remove the red tape in making them so difficult to obtain, and consumers will no longer be willing to pay the absurd prices for a tube with baffles in it.

Actually 22 is the preferred choice of assassins when its being done up close and personally......like muzzle against the head.....that bullet will penetrate the skull initially then bounce around inside the skull because it lacks the force to exit the skull

Correct. Then you wrap a towel around their head to stop blood shooting around. This is a typical mob style hit. More people are killed by .22 than any other caliber.
