For all my Canadian friends. NAPA has Liqui Moly on-sale for 35% off. Brings it down for $44 for 5L, far and better than anything else online, not even factoring in shipping. Add 3 x filters from RockAuto and it will bring the cost for a N55 change down to $75 per. Much better than the $110/$120 I was paying before. Covered for the next few years now.

Amazon .COM and .CA are very different. Prime does not apply for us from the US Amazon. Nothing in stock in that first link for me to check, but that filter lists out at $14.01 + $8.53 shipping ($22.54 USD -> CAD $27 + duty) and I'll get it sometime in June.... not great. Duty / tax / shipping kills the deal.

As for the oil, https://www.amazon.ca/Castrol-03247-...omotive&sr=1-5 , Castrol 5W-40 with prime lists out at $59.95 CAD, so still more expensive than NAPA....

Sometimes we win with goods, but most of the time we pay the premium.

Yes indeed - that's the first thing I do when getting a new BMW.

Remove all the M badges.

It's the Race setting or bust bro If you do get the BM3 tune there's a live gauges function through the app. Before you flash the tune you can still use the app. Do some data logging on the RC in race mode. In particular look at the peak boost level. Then flash the tune and do the same. Prepare for you mind to be blown!

Lol! I'm not one to speak about something I haven't experienced. I've had the RC GTS black then went to BM3 stage 1 and now on stage 2 tune. The BM3 flash tune is a game changer. I literally had a perma grin after my first test drive after the stage 1 flash and the same can be said for the stage 2. You'd think I was commissioned by BM3, but I'm not

Shit I got one year original warranty left on the car and I bought extended. I guess I will just accept what it is with the mods I got. The car is pretty quick in sport modes compare to stock with mppk, RC gts black and xlr. Hey if I never tasted it I wouldn't know how good it is anyway right.

Well I had my heart broken by the BM3 guys after sending my DME version to them, I guess my shop was wrong. But I never considered logging the RC, I know what I'm doing today lol.
