It never ends once you get on the mod train. I would love BBKs myself but its such a damn expensive upgrade in the grand scheme of things. If only there was a happy medium between caliper covers and the BBK lol.

I like 95% of what you have done. I think almost any BMW colors looks better with black trim rather than chrome, but black really pops on white. (I have cedar atlas with chrome). You lost me at the gas cap and the paddle shifters. I tried my paddles the other day to see if they work, but my computer is so smart I let it do the shifting. I also don't get the debadging......Ford F150 owner to Chevy Silverado owner...."Yeah, I really dinged that dude's X5 when I opened my door, but I don't know what engine he had cuz he debadged the side...."
What is the part called that trims the hole in the front fender. You know, the hole that MAYBE looks cool, until you realize it funnels every drop of road salt along the side of your X5? I'm ready to cover mine with silver duct tape. |

Debadging for me was to make it look cleaner. I added the paddle shifter to give the steering wheel some blue accent. They are seldom used as it's awkward for me to drive with two hands on the wheel. When i want to go manual shift mode, I usually use the steptronic shift gear.

Ended up putting a couple of coats of the new Hyperdip formula "Piano Black" (aka Gloss Black). As you can see, the depth of black and gloss is great. I did get some jagged edges as I applied this in only two wet coats over the previous hyperdip, so I will definitely be redoing from scratch next weekend. For those especially with the gloss black IND roundel, and don't want to drop $100 on the IND emblems, this is a great alternative:

Also, very curious as to how the platidipped roof rails hold up. I'd like to do the same to mine. |

New to me 2016 35i M-Sport. First thing I did was get rid of chrome grills and replaced with black.
