Peter, I just did this the other night, didn't work, then noticed 2 more lines in the cheat sheet needed - both set to active - they are above the other 3 lines under open close windows via keyfob but note says needed for side mirrors - after I added these they worked for me.

BDC_BODY 3056 KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB (needed for side mirrors)
BDC_BODY 3056 KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA (needed for side mirrors)

This item set delay KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN I set mine to 00 and they fold as soon as you lock, assuming if you leave it as 0f it will require you to hold the key for 2s before they fold, but didn't try it as I just want them to fold on lock unfold on unlock.

If dealer programs car, you will need to update your PSdZData at that time to the latest version in order to recode it.

Shawn, I was curious if you could send me the link to download the E-Sys software to code my 2016 X6.

This is my 4th BMW and the first one I will be coding. My previous cars were all sedans that I was focused on performance - now just comfort.

My F15 is going in for first service in a couple of weeks. They are keeping it for 2 days because it needs to have a "performance update" - something to do with the wheel speed sensor that needs recoding. Sounds like it's a software issue so should I expect to lose all my coding? (nothing sophisticated just video in motion etc).

Should I set coding back to defaults before I take it in or not worry about it?

Yes, they will most likely be programming vehicle. I would not bother resetting your coding before service though.

You will be fine. It's dummy proof but you have to follow the instructions very carefully. Print out the documents on post#1 of this thread. Read the instructions and watch the video(s). Do one code at a time until u get use to it. Don't be in a hurry. When in doubt, you're only one post away! Good luck!

Thank you, I did it!
I got the car back today, coding was gone. 6NS was still there, I hadn't paid attention that it was permanent. I only had to do FDL coding. Now I feel confident, may try to add VLD

Looks like that you have f16 (same has my colleague), we tried to do coding for him (enable dvd in motion) as per changes sheet but regret to say I did not find parameters:
"speedlock....."
So, may be you can give me a tip which one has to be changed to do it???
P.S. On f15 I did it without any problem.
P.P.S. Uploaded list of content of "HU_NBT" folder, directory "3000".

Is the attachment the for the f16 you are coding? I see the speed lock module listed on page 5 of the photos. Am I missing something?
