Need some help with coding...Can someone please describe these options in greater detail?
I have an x35i driver assistance package and no other upgraded "electronics" options.

Changes Sports Display color from Orange to Red/Silver
Show Speed on instrument cluster via switching BC button
KOMBI/HUD startup logo
VLD (Variable Light Distribution) - Any reviews from people who coded this? Is it better than standard?
Dimming Side View Mirrors - Dimmer than standard?
Sailing / Coasting Function EcoPro Mode

Thanks, don't want to keep bothering Omar! haha

I am also interested to see if I can change the bulb with a brighter one. If you have any good info on it, let me know.

On a different topic, is it possible to code to lower the volume on the backup "beep/alert"? It's way too annoying when I try to park and the thing keeps beeping at me.

Been a bit busy, so I'll post the diagram tomorrow some time. However, regarding PDC volume, I'm pretty sure when you're reversing and it's activated, you can adjust the volume control with the radio volume wheel and it should lower based on that.

You can get to it through the sound menu in iDrive as well

Right. I can lower the volume for the short beeps but can't change the volume for the long "continuous" beep. :-)

Launch Control is available when the engine is
warmed up, that is, after uninterrupted driving
of at least 6 miles/10 km.
To start with Launch Control do not steer the
steering wheel.
Start with launch control
While the engine is running:
1. Press button or select with the
Driving Dynamics Control Sport+.
TRACTION is displayed in the instrument
cluster and the indicator lamp for DSC OFF
lights up.
2. Engaging the transmission position S
3. With the left foot, forcefully press down on
the brake.
4. Press on the accelerator beyond the resistance
point at the full throttle position.
A flag symbol appears in the instrument
cluster.
5. The starting engine speed adjusts. Within
3 seconds, release the brake.
Before using Launch Control, allow the transmission
to cool down for approx. 5 minutes.
Launch Control adjusts to the surrounding
conditions, e.g., wet pavement, when used
again.

Nice little video to help as well : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10153235856370043

Based on that, I'm not sure whether or not SPORT+ needs to be coded. Maybe so.

Has anyone been able to code the front orange LED sidemarkes off?
As suggested by Omar, I tried to change the following to Off, but they were already Off from the factory, so no luck:

BDC_Body / MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT
BDC_Body / MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT

Thanks,

"You must also enter a voltage then it works" - I translated the last comment from this thread regarding the coding above: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=751138

Opasha, could you clarify what the Change Sports Display Color from Orange to Red/Silver does? We have an M-Sport, so will this make any change at all?

Yes, my friend. So, everyone regardless of what line you have, has the ORANGE sport display round HP and TORQUE display. Now, this code changes those orange circles to a RED circle with a SILVER outline, which is the stock sport display for all real M vehicles.

Nope, no coding for that. You must use your BC button to enable or disable it.

I believe you can code the HBA without the stalk. Or if you have a stalk also. I haven't tried it, but I've read about it. Here are the lines from F10. In our case, FRM = BDC_BODY.

FRM/3050/FLA_VERBAUT/aktiv
FRM/3050/FLA_AUTO_AKTIV/automatisch

They don't exist for the F15 . The ones that do exist are not functional. Also, people use this code for turning Bi-Xenon headlights into auto high beam headlights like the default function of the LED headlights. However, even the trick for enabling Automatic High Beams on by adding 5AC to your FA (this enables High Beam Assistant) is untested/said to be not functional for the F15. The ones that got it functional for other Bi-Xenon vehicles tried it and every time had to turn their headlights off and then on with the High Beam engaged to make it work. From all the reading I saw, it was more of a nuisance than a practical function. I use my high beam all the time easily with a flick of my left ring/middle finger. If anything, it makes you more aware as a driver in the dark.

opasha , you may be right. You have spent time more on the coding than I do lately.
I just got a chance to play with some coding again today. Spent 1 hour and find out the camera to stay on, but I got the value backward.
I should have some time to correct it tomorrow. I will update the cheatsheet once confirmed the correct value.
