I'm going to test both to see, which I like. paicapo used Torque and said it was accurate. TShoot has used both on his 535i x-drive and like DashCommand more.
I have been using Torque for a few years whit my M3 so it was already paid for that’s the simply reason i tried it whit my X5 but I have only read good things about D-command,

Opasha, You have become a true value to this board. I smiled when I saw this thread.

Here is mine:

1) 2014 x5 x35d
2) racechip ultimate
3) s1= 3, s2=E
4) Pulls like a freight train and still gets 28 mpg mix. Most of the torque added down low.

1. 2013 M5
2. BMS stage 1
3. +3 psi across the board, no map changes
4. 640 whp...enough said.

I appreciate the kind words. Thanks for contributing with your input on tune info and starting the picture thread (great idea). I figured a thread like this would keep things organized for newcomers especially those interested in getting tunes. After getting my RaceChip, I don't think I'd ever get a car without a tune. It just transforms the car. I remember back when everyone was only willing to stick to E/2 for their diesel, and now we have 35i and 35d members pushing their tunes to further limits. The F15 forum has come a long way overall with great members, new pictures, new ideas, etc .

1) F15 X5 M50d 2014
2) AC Schnitzer (430 HP, 840 Nm)
3) Uploaded installation manual here
4) Already shared my impressions on this solution in the M50d thread of mine. You can also check Autobild measurements/etc. in German here or in English here. I.e. 0-60 time is confirmed @ 4.9 sec.

Great thread

E70 30D (8 speed) 2012 MSport
RC Pro2 - default setting from RC (previous used for my F25 20D and settings changed based on RC recommendation - will add around 20%. Can't recall actual settings. No error messages (X3 + X5)

HP: app 290
NM: +600
Fuel: A bit improved - just did a 3500km round trip in Europe whereof 2800km on German Autobahns. Averaged 8.4L / 100km
0-100km/h: Have not measured but match friends X6 40D spot on (BMW claim 6.6 sec for the 40D) - this is 1.0 sec down from factory 30D
Pulls pretty hard

Still driving on S2=3. Pulls very hard between 2000-3500 RPM. Can definitely hear the turbos working, something that's not real audible on the lower settings. If this week goes well, I will up it to 4 on Saturday.

Here's mine. F15 50i BMS N63tu Stage1.

Just installed a couple of weeks ago. Was concerned about living at over 9000ft, if it would affect the tune or throw a code. It has not. I cannot test it fully yet because of the snowpacked roads and whenever I try to slam the pedal to the metal it just overwhelms the traction control and DSC and all 4 wheels are spinning!

I know it is going to be insane when I can unleash it!

MMT was part of our normal gasoline for years and many gas companies still use it. Bad for environment...a little. Leaves deposits in the cat and cylinder walls...a little. Most of the million mile cars in the last 3 years used gasoline with MMT and many track cars use MMT base octane boosters to prevent engine from knocking or timing retardation. I have used it for years as well.

It makes me wonder too, how far you can set fuel timing and fuel amount delivery before the car is going to start throwing error codes I’m in E/4 for 5 days now and i really worked the car at sport+ yesterday and no problems at all, I’m going to follow 42pilot leed and start boosting S2 to F for more fuel delivery, F/4 is the next setting

I don't feel comfortable with a 4, but I have been in E/3 for couple weeks already.

Have you seen any negative MPG impact going from E2 to E3 or 4?

Thanks

opasha your post and help to the community are awesome!!

I'm sorting through the tune and code posts in the coming weeks. For the 50i is the consensus to go BMS or Race chip for best performance?

Thanks . RaceChip is the more popular on the forum lately because of its solid feedback. BMS is still good and will give pretty similar performance to the RaceChip for the 50i (however, nothing will ever be better noted than test driving two F15s side by side and of course a dyno end result). I recommend BMS only because of the ease of install (takes 1-3 minutes literally) since it plugs into the MAF sensors - no disassembling required to get access to them. This will be very useful for you when you are taking your car in for service. You must remove the piggyback. For the RaceChip, because it uses the MAP sensors, it is very tedious to install (takes 20-30 minutes for the experienced user). Just take a look at my OP for the installation differences.
