Started getting a weird rubbing noise and feeling in the steering wheel too. Wheel bearing click has been present since I got the car.

yesterday a current 7 series was parking while I was walking nearby and I heard click click click.

Honestly, during certain times of the day my wife's GS350 clicks too.

I called BMWNA and made a helluva noise (in a respectful manner) - brakes squeak and my car sounds like a school bus, steering makes strange noises and my car sounds like a go-cart. They said they've logged my complaints and advised to just go to nearest BMW service center for inspection.

I got new front brakes, an early oil and wiper blades service. No more brakes squeaks now. The SA tried to give me the line that all supersports cars have brake noises and it's documented, but I said nada, BMWNA wants it to be fixed. However, the damn car did not reproduce the damn bearing noise no matter what we tried- I was with the tech for a test drive. To be fair, I haven't heard the noise lately. So now I'll have to discover exactly how to reproduce it if it ever occurs again and perhaps record it.

Hey guys, went through the 27 pages in this thread and from what I gather there is no real solution yet? Is this is a fair statement? I have a 16 M5 and have the clicking noise. Just want to check with you guys. If no fix, I'll just keep driving it even though don't really like the noise. I don't want to waste my time and take it to the dealer a bunch of times for them to not be able to fix the issue.

That seems to be the consensus . Makes no sense BMW can not create a fix. I'm at 18,000 miles and no clicking in parking garages, etc. No excuse for them to not replicate that 100%

I believe there is a bulletin with regard to front axles. I had my left axle replaced and clicking still present. After right axle replaced the same day, or both axles the constant clicking on turns is no longer present. I hear a few clicks on a very sharp turn in a garage but almost all gone. Work order did claim they tightened control arms and I?ve noticed front end feels firmer over bumps when turning. My 2016x5m has 16000 miles

My went in about 5,000 miles ago to address the issue and I was told then there was a new bulletin on it. No clicking so far.

I gave my service advisor the SIR #s floating around here. Apparently I'm getting new front axles. Should get the car back today finally...we will see what the work order says when I pick it up.

Interesting. Mine is a '17, took delivery 8/23/17. When I go to BMW's site (http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...eoverride=true) to check recalls for my car, it says there are none. Strange that some '17s would be effected and others would not be.

Well they did fix both noises I had - the ticking from the left front end when turning right. And what sounded like brake squeal from the right front when turning left even though I wasn't using the brakes. Will see if it lasts...

High performance brakes do squeak.. for the most part. I'm only concerned about brake feel and performance.

i'm at 15K miles for my '16. it's had 3 fixes, last one probably 6 months ago or more. no more clicking. brakes squeal, but it's easily remedied for a while after a good car and wheel wash. but they're high performance brakes, so it's gonna happen.
