Anytime. Yes, since you have either a Euro or 2015 vehicle, seat belt chimes/gongs for front passenger (Beifahrer) coding is all disabled from factory (default).

If anyone with US LED headlights is free, PM me. I want to test something new. It may fix the anti-glare high beams.

Here is the coding I want you to test if you know how to do it on your own:

1) Remove 5AP and 8S4 from your FA
2) VO Code BDC_Body, Kafas2, LHM2 (both folders), TMS_03 (both folders)
3) Right click HU_NBT and fdl code the following:

HU_NBT / HIGH_BEAM_ASSISTANT / change to aktiv

4) Right click BDC_Body and fdl code the following so your auto high beam assist and glare free activate quicker:

BDC_Body / C_HBA_ENA_V_HI / default value = 46 (43 mph) change this to 2C (27 mph) - this is the speed when the HBA enables

BDC_Body / C_HBA_ENA_V_LO / default value = 3C (37 mph) change this to 1C (17 mph)- this is the speed when HBA disables

5) If the above doesn't make it work, add this final step: Right Click LHM2 (both of them) and fdl code the following:

LHM2 / M14 / change init_US_F015 to init_ECE_F015

LHM2 / M15 / change init_US_F015 to init_ECE_F015

You can also try making the HBA HI to 00 (so that it may enable from start) and HBA LO to FF (so that it stays on always). I'm not sure, but maybe 1 button push will keep it on for good then this way? Who knows? I just posted the lower speeds as a starting point. Thanks for testing, buddy.

It is a bit hard for me to find out, too much traffic around here.
But, that number should be correct.
As far as tunneling, still not happening. Only on or off individually each headlight, instead of together both headlight.

Omar has my files. The default for my MY2015 is on at 25 mph and off at 20 mph.

What do you mean on or off for each headlight individually?

Instead of creating a tunnel on the oncoming traffic like the Euro version, it just turn off the driver side high beam and turn back on once the opposite traffic clears.
By default, it just turn off or on both headlamp during oncoming traffic.

Well for the record, I've VO Coded my whole ECU before by mistake in the beginning last year and the only issue that came up was a CEL that was later cleared via ESYS (I know the CEL came from DME only and nothing else - this was also when I had the improper install of the RaceChip from my mechanic). Trojanlaw said he is happy to test this stuff again with me tonight. There are codes that turn off the high beam at certain speeds. So for the issue with auto high beam assist not coming on until 25mph - I will look for it to see if it can be lowered. The testing parameters behind the anti-glare are really annoying because of having to go "55mph or above" to see it work supposedly. That doesn't make sense to me, and I need to find that parameter. As you said, BMW likes to now throw a lot of random stuff all over the place (Easter Egg Coding) to make coding more tedious/difficult.
My HBA starts at 40 mph on both of my cars. It's set that way from the factory. How is yours set at 55 mph? Also there needs to be little ambient light to test. It was designed for use outside the city.

That was incorrect info on my part when discussing with Trojanlaw - I think that info came from anther foreign forum or something . The activation of HBA is either around 40mph for 2014 F15s or 25mph for 2015 models. Remember, I don't have LED lighting package, so I could never test anything myself.

Well I saw on the other forums you saw where the euro and U.S. Headlights are different. Did you ever figure out if it's coding or hardware?

As far as our recent tests have shown, it still seems to be a hardware difference.

Sorry to go off topic from anti-glare but on a similar topic regarding lighting. I tried searching old posts and cannot find any discussion on possibility to code the US based F15 rear tailights to light up the "panic light" everytime you brake, whether normal or hard braking. In other words, light up the "rear fogs" everytime we brake. Ive seen a few f15 hard brake in front of me and with those add'l lights, it gives car a overall better appearance especially if you have a signal light flashing. This way, there can be a dedicated "brake light" and "signal light".

Hi Opasha
Before I ask in other forums about this, just wanted to know if you already reached out to anyone about this option? I really would love to have this.

Sorry, this type of coding is strictly for Euro vehicles and cannot be enabled on US vehicles. Doing so results in many errors/issues. If you want still want to attempt it, you can go through the hassle of ordering all Euro parts (wiring and lighting); I caution you ahead of time, it is not easy.
