No diesel, it should be out in Q4.

The questions are:
- Why the delay on the 35d? Changes? Lack of supply?
- Why did they get rid of luxury line? To force M-Sport if you don't like plastic fender flares?

The funny part is I have a special order 2015 35d with luxury line and comfort seats. Do I have a unicorn? I would have assumed those to be fairly common.

My understanding is that the Diesel 2015 is still selling good, so they still need to fulfill the demand for this year before they make changes for 2016 config.
The initial 2016 35d manufacturing line will start from November. So order for October (manufactured in November) must now go in.
I was also pixxed off to see, there's no Luxury line anymore.
I can understand special order for Luxury Line now that it is not there anymore, but why did you have to place special order for comfort seats??!!! It is part of the 2016 list. No special order required. I've ordered comfort seats without special order.

does anyone know what's the difference between xLine and Luxury? Ironically the xLine on US site is more expensive than Luxury and here we are paying $400 more to get a less expensive option?!

biggest one: 2VM Comfort Adaptive Suspension is added

Also you now have two packages :
Premium Package Essentials and Premium Package Enhanced...They've basically bundled a few bunch of stuff together (Driver Assistant & Plus,...)
Storage Compartment package is also added to the above package.
Soft Door Close added.

Mocha Nappa Extended Leather is now orderable without special order.

No Luxury. Only xLine & M Sport Line.

Yup. I bought my 2014 Diesel with a base of $64,400...2016 Diesel starts from $67,000!
However, as you're adding options, it somehow gets cheaper as a loaded vehicle, if you compare it with 2015. I guess they've bundled more features with lower price.

I ended up ordering a 2015, the last amendable order (was still status 12 2 days ago, and now has turned status 50).

I wanted the 2015 because of the 48 month lease, vs only 36 month lease available on 2016 models.

Only crappy part is that there is a supply issue with surround view cameras and my car will not have it, so they discounted the premium package from $4900 to $4400. Its called Premium Package #2

At parkview bmw (Toronto) I was told that the 2016s won't start until December/January.
Can anyone confirm?
Maybe they just wanted us to close the deal asap.

2016 production will start in November...so deliveries will begin in early December

Diesel production starts in November, delivery in December.
But 35i & 50i already take orders...

I used http://www.easycardiscount.com/ - they don't charge you and the process is very simple.
