Looks awesome. Congrats. Some moderate window tints would be the final touch. Something like 25-35% all around.

True but they're £500 for the pair but I am considering them. Wanted to see how the car looked first

Wheels...

You SUV looks great. The M Performance package is awesome and the X5 is perfect in Silver.

If I may, get the wheels painted in liquid black.

Hi Spektra

Looking at trading my 2012 M5 on a 30d or 40d love the BMW performance look, did the dealer swap the wheels/kit after it arrived locally or was the whole car ordered in this exact form, from the factory?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated..I dont want to buy 2 sets of wheels/2 body kits!

Cheers

I ordered the car with all the factory parts and the staggered 19" 467M wheels as advised by the dealer as I personally wanted to have the spare set of wheels to put all weather tyres on for our climate. I also thought that if I were unfortunate enough to kerb or damage the 21" 599M's then I could swap out and get them repaired. The 599M wheels come as an "off the shelf" product but I'm not sure if they are a factory fit but worth asking about if you don't want 2 sets of wheels.

The M Performance bodykit was ordered separately again through the dealer and fitted once it arrived with them. They gave me a discount on the parts and fitting and BMW UK also supported them by giving me an additional discount to bring the car in on budget. That's the only way of doing this as far as I know as its not listed as a factory option in the UK at least and I had to deal with sales for the vehicle and parts for the bodykit/wheels.

Hope that helps you out but anything else you need to know, just ask and I will help if I can.

Tastefully modded X5. I'm torn between a X5 & a M-Sport X1 since I'll probably get the X7, too.

I actually haven't seen any F15s in silver. They're all either black or white and some greys here and there.

edit: OP did you realize the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car?

It is yes. It is part of the M Performance bodykit. Some owners have them on and some don't. It looks good either way. I think it compliments the black gloss shadow line on the windows and roof rails and pulls everything together.
