B58 engine for 2016 MY

I have a 2015 that's set to come in mid July. 2015 X6 3.5. I can wait a month and get a 2016. Will it have the B58 engine? Thanks.

Confirmed, there is no B58 engine for MY2016 F15 35i.

I doubt b58 coming before LCI (2017 production).

are you sure about that cause I am going to order 35i in China while there are rumors which said that B58 will replace the current N55 in the third season . THX

Don't get me wrong, so far it is good.
And I don't think BMW will make a bad motor also.

I think r33 is saying that they've only put the motor in the 3/4 series cars for now. Gives them some time to work out any kinks that arise before they put the B58 into the entire line up

Correct.

I may exaggerate it.
Either that, or they are cleaning up their N55 inventories, haha.
I know that the B58 has better specs than the N55, where the M3/M4 guys now a bit upset.

It's also in the 7 series and next year's 5.
