Can you get the 1,200 mile service before 1,200 miles on clock?

Has anyone gotten the 1,200 mile service prior to 1,200 miles on the clock? Will BMW even allow it? I sort of remember hearing that some people have managed to get it done at 1,000 miles or even 900 miles? What's the earliest someone has gotten the 1,200 mile service completed?

Yes, there is a certain window on mileage, like plus or minus 200 miles. Call your BMW service department.

I only see reason to get the 1200 mile tic box checked so you can WOT if you like. A bit b4 or after is no big deal. I think on the next one it's best to go pretty far into the 10k service so you know if you are burning too much oil, how the oil is looking etc. People can even send out oil to Blackstone for a mineral breakdown to see how the engine is doing.

Just curiosity, any reason to do it 100 or 200 early?

Because the 1,200 mile service takes it out of a restricted mode. At least on the E92 M3, it provided over 9% more power after the 1,200 mile service was done:
