Nothing you should be concerned but having the space that it was originally designed for.

Exactly .

@stewy604, just follow the instructions from the cradle thread: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...ghlight=cradle.

Page 1: r33 has excellent directions with pictures.
Page 3: I have just added further tips/pictures to aid in the wire disconnections at the end.

I used a Torx T-25 screw driver. That seems to be the main tool while some have commented using a T-30 - just double check to make sure how big your screws are. If you have any questions, just ask. It's pretty straightforward. The wire portion is a bit tricky, which is why I provided more information/pics. Good luck!

Hi, will pm you soon (for other stuff such as coding and tpms), am quite impatient of having them put on the car and you are all the way in US so it would take quite some time. The car looks empty without the lower silver looking pieces. Thanks a lot for your input!

Do you mind posting the part number and where to get the rivets? I think you or someone posted before, but I can not find them.

I need to replace my rear bumper and will need to replace the rivets on the rear fender flares.

Thanks

The painted reflectors look even better in person. By the way, have you figured out if there is a coding that unlocks all doors when the engine is either (1) shut off or (2) the driver door is opened? Just wondering if it is even possible.

There is. Inside BDC CLM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK (or similar) will do this.

Set your idrive preferences to driver door or all doors.

Hey mate just got my f15 last week, and just joined this forum in the last few days. lots of information around, particularly from you!

quick question, can you give me any more information, or perhaps point me in the right direction, about coding to reduce the time it takes to fold the side mirrors? is there also any way to code the one tap left/right signal to stay on for more than just 3 occurrences?

thanks! (and sweet looking ride!)

@oshiri, welcome to the club.
I sent you a PM on the cheatsheet link. I hope you can start from there.

Yes, they are 22". They are HRE p104 I believe. He said they cost about $2k per wheel on page 6 of this thread. Also, no one makes a 22" runflat.

Yes, they are 22" wrapped with Pirelli Scorpion non-RFT. It rides better than the 20" RFT IMO. Much smoother and forgiving than the RFT.

@opasha, thank you. I just wish that someone making a better wheel balance weight, that shiny thing are an eye sore.
I have another brand of wheel in mind, a friend's business. So, I may switch the wheels.
But still debating.
It is a carmod syndrome that I have.
