Chrome piece missing from vent

Hello all, I've been searching and can't find anything.

Just picked up my 335i F15 and loving her so far. Does anyone know the part number to replace the missing chrome piece from the vent? Or a link to buy it of course..

Disassemble the vent, that's where mine was.

Just to confirm, I was at the dealer for service and was missing this exact piece on my 2017 X5 as well. BMW wants to sell you the entire center air vent for $262.48

I ordered the Ali Express version for $6

your dealer is a douche bag........... the exact same piece was missing on my '17, talked to my sales guy, a week later I had the piece, no charge !

he more than likely stole it off another car. BMW does not sell these pieces by themselves.

Call him up and ask for a part number. Would love to know how much more expensive a genuine BMW part could be if the Chinese knockoff goes for $20.

As already explained, you can get Chinese knockoffs for $5-$6 on AliExpress, and They work fine.

Yes, explained and understood what the Chinese knockoffs cost and where they can be sourced. I posted earlier about the one I bought.

What I am curious about is the BMW part supplied to mikado463. Where did the salesman get it and what did it cost.
