F15 in to dealers today
I have my F15 in at the dealers today to have a number of minor issues looked at.
With 5,500 miles on the clock so far in a little over 7 weeks I have had the following issue so far, nothing major but some annoyances. Front End collision prevention system error. Pedestrian Detection system error. Not turning off when pressing the on/off button, have to press up to 4 times. BT/NBT System update to 2.45 from current 2.34, nothing on the BMW website. I've asked them to check the headlight alignment as I've had lots of flashes by cars going the other way even with HBA off and I've had adaptive xenons before with no problems. Drivers seat side bolsters squeaking when inflating. Also asked to check for any other system updates. It'll be interesting to see what a UK dealers says about these things which have all been mentioned on here before. |

Good luck with it!
We're in on Friday for misaligned headlight washer and surround view not always displaying when reverse is selected. Following your lead I think I'll ask them to check for any system updates too. |

Bit of an anti-climax really, at my dealer their one BMW master-tech is on holiday and no one else knows how to do updates so I haven't had any software update issues resolved.
They stopped the drivers seat squeaking and realigned the headlights but none of the other more useful stuff. They reckon they've never heard of the stop button not stopping issue. |

Most common problem mentioned on this forum. People have changed the button to no avail but a software update apparently has fixed it.

I am surprised to hear that just after over 5k you have that many issues.
I'm guessing this is the toll to be paid when getting the first MY of the new generation. |

I guess TC will reply regarding his case, but while we're at it: mine had the same problem and required simple greasing (according to my dealer, who knows what they did in reality ), while I remember atomic80 dealer changed the side bolster bladders to fix the squeaking.

I hope the software fix is available over here. The fact that it starts fine every time without fail would indicate to me that it isn't a button issue but a problem with whatever is interpreting the button presses.

I think the issue is just so much technology that you have to expect issues from time to time. |
